What to Expect
Celestial Observations: Marvel at the Moon, Saturn, Jupiter, galaxies, nebulae, deep space objects, and a spectacular comet through various visual and electronic telescopes provided by RASC Winnipeg astronomy club members.
Draw Prizes: All attendees, including RASC event volunteers, have a chance to win exciting draw prizes, such as 7 x 50 mm Astro Binoculars and high-quality computer accessories, generously donated by RASC Winnipeg and event sponsor Canada Computing.
Refreshments and Information: Enjoy light refreshments and learn more about astronomy at our hospitality tent. Portable restrooms will be available for your convenience.
About the Hosts: This event is organized by the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (Winnipeg Centre) in partnership with UM Properties, the developer of Southwood Circle – a thriving, inclusive, and sustainable residential community extension of the University of Manitoba campus.
