Seedy Saturday Returns to Millennium Library – March 8, 2025

Seedy Saturday is back at the Millennium Library on March 8, 2025, offering a full day of gardening inspiration and hands-on learning. This free event is perfect for anyone passionate about gardening and sustainability. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities, including workshops, a film screening, a seed swap, and a vibrant vendor market.

Event Highlights:

  • Workshops in the Carol Shields Auditorium:

    • 11:00 AM: Master Gardener Lori Graham will lead a session on composting methods, with special guest Alexa Harwood-Jones from the Green Action Centre, who will provide tips on composting indoors.
    • 12:30 PM: Dennis Rawluk will share expert advice on soil blocking and starting seeds indoors.
    • 2:00 PM: Stu Innes will discuss the latest developments in indoor seed starting using grow lights.

Seedy Saturday Returns to Millennium Library – March 8, 2025
