Event Description
Red River Exhibition Park is seeking Part-Time workers to work at the Red River Exhibition alongside our team of high-spirited individuals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to gain experience in the event industry and its different aspects. These positions will last for the duration of the Red River Exhibition from June 16-25 with a variety of shifts available to accommodate someone’s existing schedule. Further opportunities working at other Events at the Red River Exhibition Association are also available to employees that work throughout the event.

The hiring fair will be to fill positions in all departments that require staffing during the Red River Exhibition, including but not limited to:
• Gate Staff (Ticket sellers and gate operations)
• Parking Attendants
• Grounds Maintenance and Facilities
Wages range from $15 per hour to $16.50 per hour depending on placement and responsibilities.
Ability:
• Ability to remain on feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally with supervisors and co-workers.
• Ability to take and follow instructions.
• 6–12 hour shift (shifts vary based on availability, assignment and weather permitting)
• Weekends are required

The hiring Fair will be held at our Head Office at 3977 Portage Ave, Winnipeg MB on the following dates and times:
Tuesday, June 6, 2023 – 4:00 pm- 6:00 pm
Wednesday, June 7, 2023- 4:00 pm- 6:00 pm
You do not need to call ahead to schedule a time, it will be an open house hiring event for which you can just show up. We will not be screening resumes submitted through Indeed. There is no bus service to our location on these days
A separate orientation and uniform distribution day will be held for successful candidates in the week following the Hiring Fair.
