Event by Scott D Young and RASC Winnipeg Centre
FREE and safe public viewing of the partial solar eclipse visible from Manitoba. Weβll be in the Kitchen Garden, adjacent to The Leaf in Assiniboine Park.
If you are a Winnipeg Centre member and would like to volunteer to bring your telescope and a safe solar filter for public viewing, contact Scott at space@manitobamuseum.ca. Drinks and snacks will be provided to volunteers. If you donβt have your own telescope, volunteer anyway β there will be extra telescopes, as well as traffic control and distribution of eclipse glasses to take care of as well.
