Prairie Comics Festival is Winnipeg's premier indie comics event! Come celebrate independent comics, zines, and the folks who create them on Sept 6–7 at the Manitoba Museum in Alloway Hall. Discover new amazing comics and art, meet creators from all over Canada, talk to publishers, and check out some in-depth panels and workshops in an intimate setting. And it’s all free to attend!
Throughout the year, Prairie Comics Festival keeps the indie comic celebration going with monthly workshops, panels, and talks at their studio at 611-70 Arthur Street, and with partners the Winnipeg Public Library. All programs are facilitated by local professional comic creators and publishers.
