About: Originating in 1967 as a Canada Centennial celebration, this festival has grown into Manitoba’s largest street festival, drawing nearly 80,000 visitors annually. It is a community-powered, free-entry event featuring free parking, shuttle service, and much of the entertainment at no cost to attendees.
Enjoy a free, family-friendly weekend bursting with entertainment, tasty local treats, and small-town hospitality in the heart of Morden, Manitoba. Featuring live music, free corn & apple juice, artisanal vendors, a midway full of rides and delicious food, and community festivities, this three-day event offers something for festival-goers of all ages. The Winnipeg Police Museum offers free admission and features artifacts dating back to the late 1800s, vintage vehicles and motorcycles, and stories highlighting the history and service of the Winnipeg Police Service, located at 245 Smith Street and open Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
WAG Wednesday Nights offers free admission every Wednesday evening from 5:00–9:00 PM at WAG-Qaumajuq, starting January 2026, with live music, interactive activities, and rotating cultural programming in the heart of downtown Winnipeg.
