Join the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra for its 3rd Annual Concert on the Veranda at the Seven Oaks House Museum on Sunday, August 25th at 11 am. Admission is free!
This is not your typical orchestra concert! The MCO’s Fiddlers on the Loose program features a lively mix of folk and fiddle tunes, Latin American music, uplifting classical works, and more. It’s a perfect summer morning activity for the whole family.
New this year! Don’t miss the chance to join a fiddle jam session led by Grandmaster Champion, Patti Kusturok! Registration is required online at https://themco.ca/ or by phone at (204) 783-7377 before Friday, August 23rd.

Here’s what you need to know:
● Bring: Lawn chairs, blankets, sunscreen, and a picnic lunch. The museum will even offer a free tour after the concert!
● Getting There: Bus routes #18, 32, 38, and 88 stop nearby. Bike routes along Scotia St connect to The Forks, Kildonan Park, and the North-East Greenway. Parking in the museum lot is limited, but on-street parking is available nearby.
● Location: The Seven Oaks House Museum and Ross House Museum are located on Treaty One land, the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg and Ininíwak, the land of the Dakota and the homeland of the Red River Métis.
