Parents and caregivers in the Winnipeg area are invited to the upcoming Kids Clothing & Toy Swap! This semi-annual event provides an opportunity to exchange gently used children’s items with other families.
Here’s how to participate:
● Gather Your Items: Collect clean, gently used children’s clothing, footwear, toys, books, and baby items. Maternity clothes are also welcome.
Sort Your Items: Organize items by size and category:
- Clothing: 0-6 months, 6-12 months, 12-18 months, 18-24 months, 24 months/2T, 3T/4T, 5/6, 7-10, and 11+
- Other Items: Footwear, maternity, baby equipment, toys, books, etc.
● Drop Off Your Items: Bring your sorted items to Ralph Brown Community Centre on November 2nd, 2024, between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM. The first 50 families to drop off items at 10 AM will receive a ticket to be in the first group of swappers, gaining early entry at noon. The next 50 will be in the second group, and so on.

● Swap Your Items: Return at noon to select items for your family. Present your ticket to the greeters upon entry and keep it to return upon exit. Please note: no re-selling, and only one large toy item per family. The swap will run from 12 PM to approximately 1 PM.
● Make a Donation: A small donation is appreciated to cover rental costs and ensure future swaps.
● Expecting a Baby? Even if you have nothing to swap yet, you’re welcome to join! Bring a couple of reusable bags and take home items for newborns and infants up to 6 months.
