The Manitoba Wildlife Federation is looking for volunteers to assist during the event. No ice fishing experience is needed—just a willingness to help and enjoy the outdoors.

The Roblin Park Winter Carnival is expected to return January 19–25, 2026 with a week of family-friendly winter activities, based on programming from past years, with full details still to be officially confirmed.
The Winnipeg Police Museum offers free admission and features artifacts dating back to the late 1800s, vintage vehicles and motorcycles, and stories highlighting the history and service of the Winnipeg Police Service, located at 245 Smith Street and open Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
