What's Included

One hour of access to a Canadian-made cedar barrel sauna during the Free Assiniboine Park Sauna Session.

Guests are encouraged to arrive 20 minutes before their session for changing and instructions.

Participants should bring swimwear, towels or bathrobes, and sandals.

Each session includes three sauna rounds of 15-20 minutes, with opportunities to rest and hydrate beside a glowing fire at The Cargo Bar.

Eucalyptus full-body shower wipes are provided for cleansing after the session.

Example Session: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM (1 hour)

  • 3:40 PM: Arrival
  • 3:40 – 4:00 PM: Changing/Rest
  • 4:00 – 4:15 PM: Sauna Round 1
  • 4:15 – 4:20 PM: Outdoor Rest
  • 4:20 – 4:35 PM: Sauna Round 2
  • 4:35 – 4:40 PM: Outdoor Rest
  • 4:40 – 4:55 PM: Sauna Round 3
  • 4:55 PM and onward: Rest/Change
