July 25 @ 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Join us for this FREE family-friendly event and experience the excitement of the Folklorama Festival before it begins.

Enjoy four hours of live entertainment featuring vibrant ethno-cultural performances along with the colourful Ambassador Parade, all hosted by some of Winnipeg’s favourite TV and radio personalities. NEW this year, we will have an ASL interpreter on-site for all four hours of programming.

There’s something for everyone to enjoy! Explore the Pavilion Expo, where more than 18 Pavilions will be on-site to share their cultures through interactive displays and activities. Visit our partner activations for fun games and surprises, grab a bite from one of the many food trucks, and bring the kids to the Kid’s Corner for face painting, balloon animals, and an interactive drum circle.

Plus, help us celebrate the Folklorama Llama’s 40th birthday! Stop by to wish our beloved mascot a happy birthday, enjoy a sweet treat (while supplies last), and snap a photo with the guest of honour.

Be sure to bring a lawn chair or blanket, sunscreen, bug spray, and a refillable water bottle!
