Canada Life Free Sundays at WAG-Qaumajuq – December 8, 2024
Throughout the day, visitors of all ages can take part in an art-making activity in the Skylight Gallery. This will draw inspiration from Lita Fontaine’s exhibition Winyan and will include creating mandala ornaments.
Drop-in tours will take place in the afternoon. At 1pm, get an in-depth look at MOTHERGROUND, then at 2pm, join us for our newest tour exploring Inuit Sanaugangit.
Plus, we’re thrilled to have singers from the Manitoba Underground Opera carolling in the galleries between 1 and 2:30pm. This pop-up holiday performance is part of our Sounds of Manitoba series, generously sponsored by Leon A Brown Ltd, in honour of Ruth Anne Shnier.
Additional Information:
● Parking: Free public parking is available at the Canada Life parking lot and on downtown streets.
