Celebrate Canada Day at Assiniboine Park

Celebrate Canada Day at Assiniboine Park on Wednesday, July 1, with a full day of
free family-friendly entertainment, live music, cultural performances, and activities.
Entertainment on the Lyric Stage begins at 11:00 AM with host
Barney Morin, followed by performances from the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra,
The Winnipeg Steel Orchestra, Tommyphyll, and Andrina Turenne and Begonia.

The Celebrate Stage keeps the fun going throughout the day with the Ivan Flett
Memorial Dancers, Wackydoodle Dance Party for Kids, and mascot appearances
between the main stage performances.

Family Activities Throughout the Park

Enjoy food trucks, face painting, bouncers, mascots, and the Assiniboine Park
Retail Cart at the Lyric Field throughout the day. Visitors can also relax at the
Pop-up Patio at The Pavilion, featuring food, beverages, beer selections, and a
large LED screen showing the live Lyric Stage performances.

At The Leaf, visitors can attend a special Canada Day Citizenship Ceremony,
explore Fire Teachings and Teepee Teachings in the Indigenous Peoples Garden,
join Bachata Time with Dance World, and enjoy additional food truck offerings.

National Celebration & Visitor Information

Winnipeg is part of the national evening show Celebrating our Canada,
broadcast from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM (ET), with segments from Ottawa, Moncton,
and Winnipeg.

A free Bike Valet will be available from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM at the
Pavilion Event Tent (donations accepted), making it easy to cycle to the celebration
and enjoy everything Assiniboine Park has to offer.
