The Blue Bombers Futures Kick-Off Program ignites a passion for football in children ages 4-8 through a safe and fun learning environment. Launched in 2018 and inspired by Football Canada's First Down Program, this free, non-contact program gets kids active and engaged while introducing them to the fundamentals of the game.

Certified coaches lead the Blue Bombers Futures Kick-Off Program, utilizing a variety of football-related movements, activities, and skills. Children participate in a series of fun drills that develop throwing, catching, and passing skills, all while improving their overall physical literacy.

The Blue Bombers Futures Kick-Off Program offers a multitude of benefits for young participants:

● Focus on Fun and Activity: The program prioritizes keeping children engaged and active, fostering a lifelong love for the game.

● Skill Development: Children develop basic throwing, catching, and passing skills, laying a strong foundation for their football journey.

● Physical Literacy: The program incorporates activities that enhance overall physical literacy, promoting an active lifestyle from a young age.

● Community Connection: The Blue Bombers Futures Kick-Off Program provides a platform for families to connect with the Winnipeg Football Club and the wider football community.
