Cabin Fever: Free Films for Kids! is a beloved winter film series that brings families together for cozy Sunday afternoons at the movies. Hosted by the David Barber Cinematheque, this special kids’ edition of Cabin Fever runs every Sunday from January 4 to February 22, recreating that unforgettable first movie-theatre experience for a new generation.
A long-standing Cinematheque tradition, Cabin Fever: Free Films for Kids! features a lineup of cherished and family-friendly films, perfect for escaping the cold and enjoying quality time together. Families are invited to shake the snow off their boots, grab a seat, and enjoy a relaxed afternoon of cinema during the heart of winter.
All screenings are free to attend, but space may be limited, so booking seats online in advance is recommended. This series is designed for families with children aged 6–12, and audience cooperation is appreciated to help keep the experience enjoyable for everyone.
