All public skating activities are provided free of charge. We strongly recommend the use of a proper-fitting, CSA-approved hockey helmet with a face mask for all age groups. Only figure or hockey skates are permitted on the ice.

The GoodLife Teen Fitness program offers youth aged 12 to 17 free access to all GoodLife Fitness Clubs across Canada. The program runs from July 3rd to September 2nd, 7 days a week from 8am to 4pm (last check in is at 3pm).

A new skating path is opening in Winnipeg, tracing the one-kilometre Terry Fox Fitness Trail through Assiniboine Park, in addition to the Duck Pond.
During winter, The Forks is turned into winter wonderland called Arctic Glacier Winter Park, with a 1 km skating trail, a toboggan hill and festival lights.
Lace up your skates, temperatures are cool enough for ice skating conditions under the Canopy at The Forks.
