Get ready for a day of discovery and innovation at the University of Manitoba’s Fort Garry campus! Science Rendezvous 2024 takes place on Saturday, May 11th, from 11 AM to 3 PM. This exciting event is perfect for families with curious minds of all ages.
Over 60 Interactive Booths Await!
Explore a vast selection of interactive science booths, with over 20 brand new additions this year! Whether you’re fascinated by physics demonstrations or captivated by the mysteries of the night sky, there’s something for everyone. Test your skills at Plinko, marvel at the beauty of glowing uranium glass, or simply follow your curiosity and see where the day takes you!

Thrilling Live Shows (Tickets Required):
The Chemistry Show, Physics Show, and all Planetarium Shows require tickets. Tickets will be released online 30 minutes before showtimes.

Ticketholders must be at the show doors a minimum of 5 minutes before the show to ensure their seat. See further terms and conditions on Eventbrite.

Take a virtual journey through the cosmos at the Planetarium Show (Lockhart Planetarium Theatre, limited seating).

Science Rendezvous offers a Sensory-Friendly Planetarium Show for those who might find a traditional presentation overwhelming. This show features a calmer environment with dimmed lights for a more comfortable experience (reservation required).

Want to explore a particular area of science? Science Rendezvous has you covered! Delve into the world of biology, from plants to animals, at the Cells to Ecosystems exhibit (211 Biological Science Building, no tickets required). Travel back in time and encounter dinosaurs and prehistoric wonders at the Cretaceous Menagerie (219 Wallace, no tickets required).
