1) Visit the Winnipeg Police Museum. The Winnipeg Police Museum displays many artifacts related to the history of the Winnipeg Police Force, dating from its beginning in 1874.
2) Dive back into summer traditions with Movies in the Park. Watch a movie at Assiniboine Park every Friday in August.
3) Kids Bowl Free this summer. Take your kids bowling. Register your kids to get 2 FREE games of bowling each day.
4) Watch a free Folklorama performance at Performances In The Park by The West End BIZ. This is a standing event at Central Park, consider bringing along a chair or blanket.
5) Visit the St. Boniface Museum. Free Access to Exhibits and Walking Tours. Every day 10 a.m.-6 p.m. except statutory holidays until September 4.
6) Take a free fitness class at White Ridge Community Center. Classes Wed & Fri, 6-7 pm, Aug 4 – Sep 24. All ABILITIES Welcome. Registration required.
7) Watch horse racing at the Assiniboia Downs. Free admission. Live racing every Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday (through September 15) at 7:30 p.m. Have some food and drinks.
8) Explore your city through public art. Free walking and cycling tours are back Presented By Winnipeg Arts Council! Registration Required.
9) Take a walk through the Winnipeg Art Gallery on Canada Life Free Days @WAG. This will feature complimentary activities for the whole family, including games, art-making, tours, films, and performances. This happens every 2nd Sunday of the month and the WAG will add additional days to make up for days missed.
10) The library is now open for in-person browsing. Browse thousands of books and other content material at any Winnipeg Public Library location.
11) Get a free hot meal Every Thursday From Central Neighborhoods at 231 Isabel St. 5 to 9 p.m.

13) Cool off and take a swim at outdoor pools. Heated pools are free on Fridays, but bookings are required. Unheated pools are free everyday, check the schedule for each location.
14) Explore Selkirk Avenue with Winnipeg Architecture Foundation’s new children’s map available in English, Cree, French, German and Tagalog. learn about its history, buildings and landscapes in a fun way. Free download click here.
15) Exercise Outdoors in Person for Free at Fitness in the Park. This is an exciting lineup of free lunch hour fitness classes via the Downtown Winnipeg Biz. June 14 to September 17.
16) Listen and dance to live music from many local artists at Assiniboine Park. The free Summer Music Series at the Lyric Theatre is back!
17) Enjoy your lunch while listening to music at the Downtown Sounds Concert Series brought to you by the Downtown Winnipeg Biz.
18) Watch a movie under the stars at St. Boniface Cathedral. Cinéma sous les étoiles offers Manitoba audiences free outdoor screenings of French-language films with English subtitles, this year from June 10 to September.
19) Take a free ride on the Domo Trolley on the loop within Assiniboine Park
20) Take a stroll at the new Outdoor Gardens At The Leaf in Assiniboine Park. A significant outdoor space in the south-east corner of Assiniboine Park to our community. The Gardens at The Leaf can also be accessed on the Domo Trolley.
21) Explore the Manitoba Legislative Building grounds for a guided tour. A fun, free and great way to explore your own province.
22) Take a peek at a free mobile exhibit from the vaults of Qaumajuq, the new Inuit art centre. Manitoba150 and the WAG are bringing art to you! Tour 150 presented by Manitoba Credit Union will travel across the province this summer in celebration of Qaumajuq.
23) Capture a photo-op at Air Force Heritage Museum and Air Park. The air park has the largest permanent display of Canadian military aircraft in Canada. This free outdoor Air Park consists of 11 aircraft, including the only Challenger on exhibit in Canada.
24) Capture photos of art on several city bridges brought to you by Cool Streets Winnipeg.
25) Spend some time checking out Niizhoziibean at The Forks – the new Gathering Space and appreciating the gorgeous public art in this area.
