A New Downtown Festival Experience

The Weekender is Winnipeg’s newest signature street festival — a three-day celebration that will transform downtown Winnipeg into a vibrant festival experience filled with live entertainment, local food and beverage, interactive activities, community programming, and unique experiences for all ages. FREE to attend and open to the public, The Weekender takes place along the Graham Avenue pedestrian corridor, and features a curated lineup of festival zones designed to showcase the best of downtown Winnipeg’s energy, creativity, and community spirit.

Festival Zones & Activities

FOOD TRUCK WARS
A celebration of local flavour featuring 40 of Winnipeg’s favourite food trucks and mobile vendors. Festivalgoers can explore a diverse selection of cuisines, discover new culinary favourites, and enjoy great food while experiencing the energy of downtown Winnipeg.

ARTISAN MARKET
Discover unique handmade goods, artwork, fashion, and specialty products from talented Manitoba makers. The Artisan Market showcases the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of local artists, artisans, and small businesses while celebrating local culture and community.

ADVENTURE ZONE
Get ready for action in the Adventure Zone, featuring exciting activities, challenges, and experiences that invite you to try something new. Whether you’re looking for a little adventure or a new way to have fun, there’s something here for everyone.

FAMILY ZONE
Make memories together in the Family Zone, featuring fun activities and interactive experiences, for festivalgoers of all ages. It’s the perfect place for families to play, explore, relax, and enjoy everything The Weekender has to offer.

Live Entertainment & Sports

THE LAKESIDE LOUNGE LIVE MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT ZONE
Feel the energy of The Weekender with live music, performances, and entertainment on The Lakeside Lounge Main Stage throughout the festival. Featuring local DJs, Downtown Live artists, cultural shows, and local acts, there’s something for everyone to see, hear, and experience.

3×3 BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT
Catch the action at The Weekender’s 3×3 Basketball Tournament, hosted by Peg City Basketball. Watch teams go head-to-head in fast-paced games, high-energy competition, and exciting moments on the court as Winnipeg’s basketball community comes together downtown.
