Skate the Oval is brought to you by Speed Skating Manitoba, the awesome organization that runs the Susan Auch Oval. That’s the big skating rink at the Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex.
On Saturday, January 28, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., we’re inviting you to skate with us on the oval, which is the only long track speed skating oval in the city. How cool is that? You can also try out some speed skates, test your speed with the radar gun, sip some hot chocolate, groove to some tunes, and watch some amazing speed skaters show off their skills. And guess what? It’s all free!
Skate the Oval is for everyone, no matter how old or young, or how fast or slow you are. Just bring your skates or rent some for a small fee. And don’t forget your helmet, because safety first!
