Family Theme Days are back! These free programs are suited to ages 5-12, and adult supervision is required. Public registration is now open for the first two sessions. Friends of LPM members may register for any day in advance. Please call to register!

August 3 Meet Our Local Trees How do trees grow and how important are trees on the prairie?

August 8 All Around Sounds Take an interactive journey as you learn who makes sounds, and where, on the prairie.

August 10 Eager Beavers What is a beaver? What do they do? How do they change the environment around them?

August 17 Marvelous Microbes Feed some yeast and measure their gas. Microbial science at its best!
