Are you looking for a fun and affordable way to keep your kids active and entertained this summer? If so, you might want to check out the City of Winnipeg’s free play program!
The free play program is a drop-in service that offers supervised recreational activities for children aged 6 to 12 at various community centers across the city. The program runs from July 4 to August 26, 2023, Monday to Friday, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The free play program is designed to promote physical, social, and emotional well-being among children, as well as foster a sense of community and belonging. The program staff are trained and experienced in working with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities, and they ensure a safe and inclusive environment for everyone.
To participate in the free play program, you don’t need to register or pay any fees. All you need to do is bring your kids to any of the participating community centers during the program hours, and they can join in the fun!
