Government & Public Services
- Civic, provincial, and federal offices: Closed for the holiday.
- Canada Post / mail delivery: No delivery, and counters won’t be open (though some inside businesses might be if the store itself is open).
Recycling, Garbage & Depots
- Regular pickup: Garbage, recycling, and yard waste as usual.
- Brady Road Landfill (commercial): Open 5:30 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Brady 4R Depot: Open 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Pacific and Panet 4R Depots: Closed.
Transit
Winnipeg Transit buses will run on a Sunday schedule. The fall schedule starts August 31.
Libraries & Leisure Centres
- Winnipeg Public Libraries: Closed Aug 31 and Sept 1. Online services available.
