FREE Indigenous Art Camp, Hosted by WAG-Qaumajuq, August 19–23, for Ages 6-12!

WAG-Qaumajuq invites Indigenous youth ages 6-12 to join a week-long Mixed Media and Printmaking Summer Camp, completely free of charge. Hurry, as limited spots are available! Registration Required

Activities Include:

● Current Exhibition Education: Participants will explore current exhibitions, including the permanent collection, Winyan featuring artwork by Lita Fontaine, Riopelle: Crossroads in Time, Colour Therapy, and Inuit Sanaugangit: Art Across Time.

● Printmaking Exploration: Campers will learn the basics of printmaking, including block printing, and experiment with various materials to create unique prints on paper, fabric, and more.

● Stamp Design and Creation: Participants will design their own stamps and discover how to transfer their designs onto different surfaces.
