Free Entry to Manitoba Provincial Parks – Labour Day Weekend 2026
Enjoy one of the last long weekends of summer outdoors with free entry to Manitoba provincial parks from September 4–7, 2026.
During the Labour Day long weekend, provincial park vehicle permits are not required, giving Manitobans an affordable opportunity to explore the province’s parks, beaches, hiking trails and natural areas.
From Friday, September 4 through Monday, September 7, 2026, visitors can enter Manitoba provincial parks without purchasing or displaying a provincial park vehicle permit.
Spend the day hiking, paddling, relaxing at the beach, having a picnic or exploring Manitoba’s natural landscapes with family and friends.

Camping Fees Still Apply
While park vehicle entry is free September 4–7, regular overnight camping fees still apply. Visitors planning to camp should reserve a campsite through the Manitoba Parks Reservation Service.
The free-entry weekend applies to Manitoba provincial parks only. Regular entrance fees at national parks remain in effect.
