This full-day event includes guided bus tours of the base\, along with both indoor and outdoor activities designed for the whole family. It’s a great chance to learn about the base’s history\, see how it has connected with the community over the years\, and reflect on its future. Visitors can explore the journey from RCAF Station Winnipeg’s official opening in April 1925\, through its vital role training pilots\, navigators\, observers\, and wireless operators during WWII\, to its ongoing tradition of training aircrews and providing search and rescue services to Canadians today. \n\n\n\n\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\nLe 100e anniversaire de la base des Forces canadiennes de Winnipeg est célébré avec une journée complète d’activités. Des visites guidées de la base en bus ainsi que des activités intérieures et extérieures sont prévues pour toute la famille.
