DESCRIPTION:Share This Story\n\n\n\nWe Are All Treaty People Celebration at The Forks\nCelebrate community\, culture and Treaty relationships at the We Are All Treaty People Celebration\, an annual free gathering at The Forks National Historic Site in Winnipeg. \nThis family-friendly celebration brings Indigenous Peoples\, settlers and newcomers together to learn about Treaties\, experience Indigenous culture and celebrate the relationships and responsibilities we share as Treaty people. \nVisitors can enjoy a variety of activities and programming\, which may include: \n\nFree admission\nLive music and dance performances\nIndigenous and non-Indigenous performers\nTreaty education and teachings\nIndigenous arts and crafts\nIndigenous artisan and craft vendors\nFree food and refreshments\nFamily-friendly games and activities\nCommunity organizations and information\nOpportunities for learning\, conversation and relationship-building\n\nProgramming\, performers and activities may vary from year to year. \nA Celebration of Treaty Relationships\nThe idea that “We Are All Treaty People” recognizes that Treaties continue to shape relationships between First Nations and everyone who lives on Treaty lands.
