This event gives fans a place to cheer on the Jets while showcasing Winnipeg to the world.
The Winnipeg Whiteout Street Party will take place before and during every Jets home playoff game, and will be located on Donald Street between Portage and St. Mary’s Avenue.

How much does it cost to enter?
Attendance is free!
Will we be able to watch the game live?
Yes! The Street Party will have two screens to watch the game live – one at each end of the venue. You won’t miss a single second of the action.
Are there washrooms available onsite?
Can I bring a lawn chair?
Yes! You will have to bring your own chairs if you want to sit, and there will be lots of standing room.
Can I bring my own food or drinks into the Street Party?
Outside food and drinks will not be permitted – but there are some great food trucks and beverage options inside the venue for purchase.
Will I be allowed to smoke?
The Street Party site is a non-smoking venue.
Will food be available for purchase?
Yes. There will be some food trucks at the Street Party so you can grab a bite before and during the game.
Will alcoholic beverages be available for purchase?
Are pets allowed?
We ask that you keep your furry friend at home (guidance animals are permitted on-site).
Will there be an accessible drop-off point if I have mobility impairments?
Yes. A drop-off point for accessible parking will be available in the loading zone in front of the Radisson Hotel (288 Portage Avenue) during the Street Party. There will be clearly marked signage during these times.
Will there be security onsite?
Yes. We want this to be a safe space, and are working with the Winnipeg Police Service, True North Sports & Entertainment, and the Downtown BIZ to make sure the Street Party is safe for everyone to celebrate. How will the party affect traffic downtown?
There will be some street closures and Transit reroutes around BellMTS Place. Details can be found here. It’s a good idea to allow extra time to get around downtown. Winnipeg Transit has more information on affected routes. Download and use the Waze app for real-time traffic and incident updates as well as traffic re-route options.
Anything else I need to know?
Dress for the weather (whatever it might be that day). Of course, we encourage all fans to wear white for every game!

As part of the Winnipeg Jets playoff push, Economic Development Winnipeg announced today that it was hosting a street party, named the Winnipeg Whiteout Street Party. This event gives fans a place to cheer on the Jets while showcasing Winnipeg to the world.
The Winnipeg Whiteout Street Party will take place before and during every Jets home playoff game, and will be located on Donald Street between Portage and Graham Avenues.
This free family-friendly event will feature two large viewing screens to watch the hockey action live, as well as food and beverages available for purchase on-site.
The Winnipeg Whiteout Street Party offers a safe and fun downtown setting for fans to celebrate as a community, while also providing a stage for Winnipeg to showcase the excitement and culture of our city through media who will be covering the Winnipeg Jets from across North America.
