Lights on the Exchange

Experience Lights on the Exchange in Winnipeg’s historic Exchange District from January 21 to March 21, 2025. This winter arts festival features stunning light-based artworks, transforming buildings, alleyways, and rooftops into a vibrant display of creativity. Free and open to all, Lights on the Exchange offers a unique way to explore the city’s rich history and architecture.
Winnipeg St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2025

Celebrate Irish heritage at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Winnipeg on March 15, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the Irish Association of Manitoba, 654 Erin Street. This lively event features a festive neighborhood parade followed by a delicious pancake breakfast with traditional Irish favorites. Families and friends are invited to wear green, enjoy the community spirit, and take part in the celebrations!
Sustainability Tour at The Leaf

Venue: The Leaf, Assiniboine Park
Sustainability was front of mind when the Leaf was designed. Join us on a free tour that explores some of the sustainability features that support our LEED certification.
Tours run year-round and spots are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Please meet in front of the Tannis M. Richardson Indoor Classroom. This tour does not include a visit to the biomes. Admission to the biomes at The Leaf is not required.
Create and Connect Crafts at The Leaf

Stop by the Tannis M. Richardson Classroom for some hands-on crafting using natural or recycled products! Crafts are appropriate for kids and families of all ages and are accessible without admission to the biomes. Space is limited in the classroom. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Manitoba Sports Hall Of Fame

Celebrate the history and achievements of sports in the province. It was established in 1980 and has inducted over 500 individuals and teams from various sports, such as hockey, curling, speed skating, basketball, and more. The museum features exhibits, artifacts, photographs, and stories that showcase Manitoba’s sport heritage and culture.

Our Earth Mother is experiencing her first spring of the year, but everything is still frozen. We need to heed the lessons that we have already learned that have kept our fires burning.
Understanding the Music: La Boheme
