Discover Warming Huts on a free one-hour tour of these public art installations at The Forks!

Tour Guide Susan Ainley will take visitors to the Nestaweya River Trail presented by The Winnipeg Foundation to view the art and architecture competition on ice. You’ll learn about the 2023 Warming Huts and submissions from invited guests including Wanda Koop, University of Manitoba Faculty of Architecture, and St. John’s High School. Visitors will also experience past Warming Hut winners as they line the banks of the Nestaweya River Trail.

Tours will leave from the Travel Manitoba building at The Forks. Please arrive on time. If you’re late, you will join the tour along the way and will likely find the group on Nestaweya River Trail presented by The Winnipeg Foundation.

Tours take place outside and are weather permitting. Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear. In case of extreme weather, the tour will be cancelled by 10:00AM on the day of and participants will be notified by email.
