This bilingual event is offered in partnership with Sports en Français, supporting Manitoba’s Francophone community through sport and physical activity in French. While French is not required, Francophones, Francophiles, and English speakers are welcome to join.
CPAWS Manitoba has helped establish 23 new parks and protected areas, covering nearly 26,000 km²—an area larger than Lake Winnipeg. Their goal is to protect half of Manitoba’s lands and waters. The CPAWS Nature Club helps Manitobans of all ages enjoy the health and wellness benefits of nature through events and programming.
CPAWS Manitoba prioritizes participant safety. Staff undergo background checks and at least one leader with children holds first aid certification. Weather may cause cancellation if hazardous; registrants will be notified by email in advance.
