Movies Under The Stars at St. Boniface: Free Summer Film Festival!
What: Enjoy a summer tradition of free outdoor movie screenings! This year, Movies Under The Stars at St. Boniface features Francophone films with English subtitles.
When: 9:30 PM, Every Thursday from June 6th to August 29th, 2024.
Where: The beautiful and historic setting of the Saint-Boniface Cathedral ruins, 180 De La Cathedrale Ave.
Cost: Free!

Get ready for another summer of cinematic adventures under the night sky! The Economic Development Council for Bilingual Municipalities of Manitoba (CDEM) is excited to bring back Movies Under The Stars at St. Boniface for its sixth year.
This year, from June 6th to August 29th, 2024, they’re partnering with Cinémental, the French Alliance of Manitoba, and Freeze Frame to offer free outdoor screenings of French-language films with English subtitles. Imagine relaxing amidst the historic charm of the Saint-Boniface Cathedral ruins while enjoying a unique movie experience under a blanket of stars.

To make your Movies Under The Stars at St. Boniface experience even better, consider bringing your own lawn chair and some bug spray. While a limited number of chairs will be available courtesy of the St-Boniface Cathedral, securing your spot early is recommended. Restrooms within the Cathedral will also be accessible throughout the event.

Just a heads up: rain or strong winds might cause the event to be canceled. If you’re registered, you’ll be notified via email before 2 pm on the day of the event. Cancellation updates will also be posted on CDEM’s social media channels.
