Join Planetarium Astronomer Scott Young as we identify constellations and planets in the real sky, discover upcoming celestial events, and look at trending space science and astronomy news.

This weekend, dinosaurs descend on the Manitoba Museum and the Planetarium! On [email protected] this week, we’ll provide a sneak peak of the new dinosaur Planetarium show before it premieres this weekend. We’ll also talk to the Museum’s Curator of Geology and Paleontology, Dr. Graham Young, about the asteroid impact that killed the dinosaurs, and other impacts that have occurred right here in Manitoba.

The two most-explored planets beyond Earth are near each other in the morning sky, and finally high enough to spot easily. This week on [email protected], we’ll look at the upcoming observing seasons for both Mars and Jupiter, and speak to Dr. Ed Cloutis, a Winnipeg scientist who works on the Mars Perseverance rover!

We’ll also have updates on the Artemis moon mission and other cool space stuff.
