Come “Discover the Farm” on Sunday, September 17 from 10am-2pm at the Bruce D. Campbell Farm & Food Discovery Centre , just 15 minutes south of Winnipeg on Highway 75. This is a free, one-day educational event offering families a chance to explore the vibrant and innovative world of local, Manitoba agriculture.
Meet local farmers, see farm animals up close including broiler chickens, dairy cows, laying hens, and pigs. There will be free food samples, fun activities, and prizes to take home. This is an amazing opportunity to learn more about the connection between where your food comes from and the farmers who produce it with care. Pack a picnic lunch and bring the whole family for this fun-filled day!
