DESCRIPTION:Share This Story\n\nCompost Giveaway Details\nCompost Giveaway\nMay 8–10\, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.\, while quantities last \nTo thank Winnipeg residents for giving us their yard waste\, we are giving away free compost\, from our yard waste collection service! \nOnly Winnipeg residents are eligible to receive free compost. Compost giveaway is limited to 100 L per vehicle or five 19-litre/5 gallon pails per vehicle. \nLocations\n\n1901 Brady Road (next to Brady 4R Winnipeg Depot)\nKilcona Dog Park\, west parking lot off McIvor Avenue (line up on Norris Road\, south McIvor Avenue)\nSummit Road closed landfill site\, Summit Road north of Optimist Park\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHow to Get Your Compost Safely\nResidents must: \n\nBring your own containers\, shovel\, and gloves – prepare to get a little dirty\nPack and carry your own compost. Our employees will not be available to assist customers\nOnly one vehicle will be allowed per compost pile at a time.
