DESCRIPTION:Share This Story\nAnnual Orange Shirt Day Healing Walk and Pow Wow\nDate: Tuesday\, September 30\, 2025\nVenue: Oodena Circle at The Forks (start) & RBC Convention Centre (Pow Wow)\, Winnipeg\, MB \n\n\n\nThe Southern Chiefs’ Organization (SCO) invites you to attend the 5th Annual Orange Shirt Day Healing Walk and Pow Wow on September 30\, 2025\, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation\, in Winnipeg\, Treaty One Territory. \nFree events! Everyone is welcome! SCO encourages participants to wear an orange shirt to honour the Survivors and those who did not make it home. \nHealing Walk\nA pipe ceremony will start the day at 10 AM at the Oodena Circle at The Forks. The Healing Walk will begin at 11 AM and travel to the RBC Convention Centre. \nPow Wow\nThe Orange Shirt Day Pow Wow takes place at the RBC Convention Centre on the third floor (entrance to be announced).\nGrand Entry: 1 PM\nEmcee: Darcy Malcolm\nHost Drum: Singing Wolf\, Peguis First Nation\nInvited Drums: Grandfather Stone\, Red Bear\, Wartime\, White Eagle Spirit \n\n\n\n\n\n\nCall for Dancers\nSCO invites pow wow dancers of all ages and categories to join the 5th Annual Orange Shirt Day Healing Walk and Pow Wow.\nYour presence as a dancer brings strength\, spirit\, and healing to this important day.
