Explore curated markets, live performances, and hidden gems in the alleys of the Exchange District. Alleyways in The Exchange takes place on the third Friday of each month, featuring a market, audio performances, an art lounge, and dance performances—all set in Winnipeg’s most walkable urban neighbourhood.
Established in 2015 and curated by Luckygirl Pop Up, this uniquely Exchange District-style outdoor market offers handcrafted items, delicious snacks, and locally sourced foods in a vibrant setting.
Curated by send + receive, this alley behind Pantages Theatre on John Hirsch Place features experimental audio art, including pop-up installations and live performances that span free jazz, electronic music, poetry, and visual art.
Pop-up bars, immersive art installations, DJs—anything goes in the illuminated drayway tucked into the Galt building, curated by Artspace.
Experience the rhythm and energy of classic Argentinian tango as an alley on Albert St transforms into an open-air dance floor with Tango Nuevo Winnipeg. Whether you're dancing or spectating, it's a must-see!
