Step inside InSight for an immersive video experience!
From 12 – 4 PM on Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8 A Better World is InSight will be open for free public viewings of 360° videos featuring real issues and challenges faced by communities across the globe through the lens of one person’s life. InSight is a six-metre video projection cylinder designed by IglooVision, and is completing its first tour of western Canada after the COVID-19 pandemic put the project on hold for two years. Visitors to InSight experience immersive videos, surrounded by audio and visuals without the need for a VR headset.
InSight’s films include Two Drops of Patience, which follows a polio vaccination team hiking to a remote village in Uganda, and Clouds over Sidra, a journey through the Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan with Sidra, a 12-year-old Syrian girl living in the camp with her family.
Visitors interested in the immersive video experience can find InSight at The Forks Market, upstairs in Room 201 next to Coal and Canary in the north-west corner of the building.
