What is Boo at the Zoo?

Boo at the Zoo is a month-long Halloween celebration at Assiniboine Park Zoo, turning the zoo into a spooky wonderland with eerie sights, thrilling rides, games, and enchanting performances. Running from October 4 to 31, 2024, this event promises fun for all ages, with special attractions like Boo at the Zoo: After, After Dark for adults on Halloween night.

Why Become a Boo at the Zoo Ambassador?

As a Boo at the Zoo Ambassador, you’ll play a key role in making the visitor experience awesome. You’ll be providing information and directions, solving problems, and sharing cool details about the zoo and its animals. Plus, you’ll help with special events, making sure every guest leaves with a smile.

Benefits of Volunteering

For every shift, you will receive:

● Coffee, hot chocolate, water, and prepackaged snacks

● At your first shift, you will receive a Boo at the Zoo branded souvenir

● After 2 shifts, you will receive a surprise Boo at the Zoo gift

● After 5 shifts, you will receive six (6) adult Zoo tickets

● After 10 shifts, earn a special reward that’s sure to surprise you. Stay tuned to find out!

● Hours: Fridays & Saturdays: 4:30 PM – 11:00 PM (final entry 8:30 pm); All Other Days: 4:30 PM – 10:00 pm (final entry 7:30 pm)

● Location: Assiniboine Park Zoo, 2595 Roblin Blvd
