In conversation with Indigenous veteran Devin Beaudry

Devin Beaudry, an Indigenous Veteran who spent 35 years in the Royal Canadian Air Force, will share his experiences during informal conversations in the Canadian Journeys gallery on Level 2. During approximately 40‐minute sessions beginning at 7:00 p.m. and at 8:00 p.m., you will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in conversation with Devin. Learn about the experiences of a long-serving Indigenous member of the Royal Canadian Air Force and recognize the service and sacrifices made by the thousands of Indigenous military volunteers who have given so much – and sometimes their lives – in service to Canada. Veterans and military personnel enjoy free admission from November 7–12.

Our free monthly family games and movie night is coming up on November 10th! Family game night is held on one side of the club and we have many games to enjoy or you can to bring a Favorite of yours to share! On the other side of the club, we will be showing the movie Trolls world tour. Come and hang out with the community. Doors open at 6:30pm and movie starts at 7 pm. Just a reminder that the canteen is cash only. Coming up in the next few months we are thinking of possibly a cubing night (instruction or speed) possibly a DandD character building, or perhaps another rock painting instruction event for Christmas… keep your eye out for next months event.
