Here’s a list of free things to do in Winnipeg this weekend, May 19-22.  A list of free weekend events is posted every Thursday at approximately 7:00 PM.

Click the headers for more information about the event.  If you are planning to go to an event, please click on its header and read the information carefully.  Check if it needs RSVP or registration.  Some events may be free but are donation based which means a donation is expected.  However, donations are mostly at minimal costs. Events that have “no cover” means free entry but food and drinks are extra.

A day of learning & practicing the teachings of the Buddha. Come for the morning, the afternoon or all day. Registration required.

Free admission.  Food and drinks cost extra.  A singer/songwriter from Winnipeg, Manitoba, “Prairie Lakes” is a eclectic and sometimes collective folk/roots/rock experience.

8. Cars 3:  Lightning McQueen’s Canadian Road Trip!

Take a photo with the life-size character car, and play

with remote control racecar track. “Cars 3” arts & crafts for visitors.



9. St. Norbert Farmers  Outdoor Market Opens for the Season!

Over 100 vendors, fiddle music, the Norman Chief Memorial Dancers, and lots of smiles.
